Field
Arrangements
We understand that each horse has different individual needs
and this reflects in our approach to the way we arrange the
herds.
Our grazing is second to none and is well managed. All horses are kept in large paddocks
with electric fencing and hedges.
There is a herd of smaller horses and ponies that are prone
to laminitis. These are kept on bare paddocks from the peak
time in spring.
Bedding
Straw is good quality wheat straw delivered weekly to an allocated
place in the hayloft, which is accessed from the courtyard.
Shavings are purchased straight from the manufacturer to keep
costs down. They are of high quality, large flakes and dust
free, these are delivered to your stable door.
Hay/Haylage
This is produced from our own land.
Hay and haylage is available all year round. Hay is charged
per bale, haylage per week. Cost depends on the size of the
horse.
Turnout
Horses on DIY livery are turned out Monday to Friday between
7am and 9am except bank holidays and Christmas.

and then taken to the fields by trained and experienced staff.
