dressage practice

Postby go max! on Fri May 28, 2010 11:02 am

Hi guys
There are a few of us who have been going out to dressage competitions lately, and I know there are a few more of you who would like to go, so I am hoping to start some practice sessions - Friday is best for me, so I hope that will work for everyone else too.
We will concentrate on the Walk & Trot tests - B1, Intro A and Intro B, so that you can go out and do your first competitions. We will also look at the B2 and Prelim tests for those who are more ambitious!
We will go through the tests, help to understand what you have to do, how to ride the test, what he judge will look for, practice particular movements etc. Hopefully you will get the confidence to go out and have a go - there are lots of local unaffiliated competitions - and then we will have the judge's comments to work on too.

I also hope that when you go to a competition, we will have some support - in terms of getting you there, providing someone to call the test, helping to warm up (and calm down!) so that it is a fun day out for all of us.

Starting next Friday (June 4th) in the dressage arena. See you there!
